Improve and maintain muscle strength and balance

Combat chronic health conditions and diseases

Improve memory and brain function
Most private health insurance funds offer rebates for Exercise Phsyiology Services. Please speak with your private health fund to determine your level of cover.

If you have a chronic medical condition and/or complex care need, an Exercise Physiologist is the best person to help you. You may be eligible to receive up to 5 Exercise Physiology services via a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (Team Care Arrangement). You can claim up to 5 Exercise Physiology sessions per calendar year through Medicare on a ‘Enhanced Primary Care Plan’.
We advise that you speak to your GP to see if you're eligible.
Our Exercise Physiology group sessions are designed to support individuals of all fitness levels in improving their strength, mobility, and overall health in a supportive and motivating environment. Led by accredited Exercise Physiologists, these sessions focus on tailored exercise programs that address specific health concerns, chronic conditions, injury rehabilitation, and general fitness goals.
Yorke Peninsula Exercise Physiology believes that all indivuals should have the opportunity to achieve their goals. We provide NDIS participants with health education, specialised exercise interventions, and tailored exercise programs to promote independence, well-being and improved quality of life.
Ben has a great understanding of the NDIS, and is confident in communicating with people in your NDIS support team to help you achieve your goals. Ben sees both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants.
If you currently have NDIS funding, you may be eligible to access Exercise Physiology services. Exercise Physiology may be funded under the following categories of your NDIS Capacity Building Supports budget:
Improved Daily Living, or
Improved Health and Wellbeing
We value the opportunity to work with veterens who have served our country. If you a Veteran who holds a DVA Gold or White card, and are suffering from a health condition, you may be able to access Exercise Physiology services.
To work with an Exercise Physiologist, we require a suitable referral from a medical officer. If you are interested in accessing our services, please see your GP or specialist to complete a D904 referral form.
